You may now launch the application by clicking the desktop- or start menu icon.

Classic GUIOffice GUI

When opening the Softphone for the first time you will need to configure the audio setting. Please open "Settings..." in the main navigation panel within the Classic GUI.

When opening the Softphone for the first time you will need to configure the audio setting. Please open "Settings..." within the Office GUI.

Please open the tab "USB devices" within Global settings to activate or deactivate your audio device.

Please choose your audio device and click "Activate/Deactivate" subsequently. Please confirm with "OK".

Please open the "Media settings" tab. Here, you can adjust your audio device to your preferences.

We recommend selecting your headset under "Input device" and "Output device" and the integrated speaker under "Ringtone". As a result, you can conveniently speak via the headset but do not always have to keep it on, to notice an incoming call.

As a standard, the integrated speaker and microphone are selected as the audio devices. Using this menu, you can also activate acoustic echo filtering and set your custom ring tone.

Adjust the volume for "Output device" and "Ringtone" using the controls on the extreme right.

Your headset configuration is now completed.

As you are using your headset for other applications as well (e. g. Skype), it might come to interferences between your headset and the Nsoftphone premium client (e. g. during an active conversation). To avoid this, please consider the following settings:

Please open the Windows Control Panel and click "Sound".

Please open the "Recording" tab and choose your respective headset. Please open the "Properties" then.

The "Microphone Properties" window subsequently pops up. Please open the "Advanced" tab.

Please deactivate "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". Please click "Apply" and confirm with "OK".

Finally, please confirm your settings with "Sound" with "OK".
